Issue #262 Update

Dear readers. After publishing my article on the Tallahassee hospital debate on November 15th, Mr Bugra Demirel contacted me via his attorney, taking great issue with the coverage.

While I stand by my statements in the article, I have agreed to make one key change. My section on Mr Demirel’s past comments on the Armenian genocide has been removed. Mr Demirel has made it clear that he acknowledges the events of the genocide and does not seek to downplay them. I take Mr Demirel at his word and feel it is at this point that it is not relevant to the discussion around the sale of TMH.

As such, I am sending this message out as an addendum and have removed the original section from my article.
